If the IRS has not released a Tax Lien within 30 days after it has been fully paid or Legally Unenforceable call Scott Allen, E.A. of Mesa AZ

IRS Code Section 6325(a) requires the IRS to release a federal tax lien within 30 days after it has been paid off in full or the lien is legally unenforceable.  After you pay off the tax liability, the IRS is supposed to send you a copy of the Certificate of Release of Federal Tax Lien for Mesa AZ taxpayers.

If you desire a release for other reasons, your request should be mailed to the IRS Technical Services Advisory Group Manager.  IRS publication has the addresses to determine where to mail your request.

Scott Allen E.A. of Mesa AZ has the expertise to assist you with tax lien releases.  His company Tax Debt Advisors has assisted taxpayers for 36 years.  Schedule a free consultation to meet personally with Scott at 480-926-9300.

If you are behind on your IRS 940 taxes call Scott Allen, E.A.

Many business owners in Avondale Arizona get behind on their payroll taxes not because they don’t have the money to pay the taxes but are overwhelmed with all the forms that need to be prepared.  We suggest to all of our clients to get a payroll service to prepare all of the forms and make the payments on time.  This action is a great investment.  Just saving you from one mistake doing it yourself can cost you more than what you would pay a payroll service for the next year.  We follow that same advice.  We use a payroll service.

But payroll services are not able to resolve IRS problems, especially IRS payroll taxes.  Scott Allen E.A. near Avondale AZ has the expertise to negotiate with the IRS agent that will be assigned to your case.  Payroll taxes are the worst taxes to owe.  If the business does not pay the tax, the IRS will go after the business owners, company accountants and anyone else connected with preparing or payment of these taxes including spouses.

Scott Allen E.A. offers a free consultation and can be reached at 480-926-9300.  He will only take your case if he can help you and his commitment is to get you the best settlement the tax laws allow.

Scott Allen E.A. to avoid limitations of the IRS Living Standards for Glendale AZ taxpayers

If you call the IRS to set up your own payment plan, the IRS is required to set up a budget for you which can be difficult to “live with.”  The IRS Living Standards do not allow you to spend more than their housing and utility amounts which are very low, especially in Maricopa County.  Almost 7 out of 10 clients are spending more per month than the IRS standard allows for Glendale Arizona residents on their vehicles.  Other miscellaneous expenses such as credit cards, contributing to your 401(k), charitable donations, vacations, children’s sports, salon expenses, etc. our outside of the IRS living standards.

There are ways to get past the IRS Living Standards.  These include:

  • Streamlined Agreements
  • One year plan
  • Five year plan
  • Discharging taxes in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy
  • Chapter 13 payment plan bankruptcy

Each of these options has its pros and cons, but it is very probably that one of them will fit your budget without running into the IRS Living Standards “wall.”  Scott Allen E.A. has the expertise to help you with your decision process and evaluate your options.  Scott Allen E.A. offers a free consultation and can be reached at 480-926-9300.  He will make your appointment a great day for you!
